Founded in August 2008, The CMO Survey is administered twice a year, via an Internet survey, to collect and disseminate the opinions of top marketers in order to predict the future of markets, track marketing excellence, and improve the value of marketing in firms and society.
In all, it appears marketing budgets are expected to flatten, B2B marketing budgets are expected to drop, international markets aren’t looking good, traditional marketing is plummeting, and marketing budgets as a percentage of revenue remain above 10%. Meh.

This research stems from a survey of 165 marketing, commerce and supply chain executives, and 12 deep-dive interviews with executives who reveal the ways they are rethinking their engagement strategy.
