Facebook Disabled My Account

No warning, no reason provided, no email explaining why… my Facebook pages are disabled, my Facebook apps are disabled, and my Facebook Account is disabled. A few days ago, I had to reset my password – Facebook saw that someone was trying to login with my account from Northern Indiana. I’m not sure whether or not this had any impact on this incident.

Pretty stupid if you ask me. And it reaffirms my advice to all companies – don’t rely on Facebook or any other platform to be your primary means of communication. I do have some friends that are close to the teams at Facebook – I’m going to see what I can do to get the account re-enabled. I’ve already made the request through their help page.

On a side note: As a parent, I’m also upset… I’m able to keep an eye on my daughter through my Facebook account.
