A recent survey of small business owners was conducted to discover how businesses are using Facebook pages. The results show that, while only half of respondents use the social network, a significant number of users report increased revenue as a result. Small businesses are using Facebook to share basic information, share content, have conversations with customers, provide support and hold contests and giveaways.
Perhaps the most disconcerting data was that many businesses weren’t even aware that Facebook offered a business page solution. In fact 17.2 percent aren’t sure how to get one and 14.5 percent had never heard of one! That’s too bad. To tell you the truth, I’m not sure there’s much help for those folks 🙂

My friends down at the Cafe 120 do a fantastic job on Facebook, announcing the special of the day and constantly taking photos of all of their friends who stop by for a Pumpkin Steamer (mmmmm!). People are constantly walking in throughout the day after checking their Facebook page!
