Here are some of the latest features in YouTube Analytics:
- A nice overview page.
- In-depth reporting that includes engagement stats as measured by likes, dislikes, comments and favorites added or removed.
- Top videos that are driving the most views and subscriptions.
- A new audience retention report that shows how far through the videos your viewers are staying.
YouTube has released this YouTube Analytics infographic with an explanation of the changes:
Here at MarTech, we’ve seen a marked increase in traffic to our videos as well as traffic from our videos back to our site. It’s why we developed a YouTube Sidebar Widget and we optimize our YouTube videos for search.
In fact, we are seeing so much traction on video that we may be increasing our output to weekly videos here very soon along with a official video sponsor! Our issue with videos is that they’ve been too few and far between and a bit inconsistent. We’re looking forward to developing more videos with great content on a more frequent basis. We’ll keep you posted.
This new analytics package is really going to help nail down the content that drives the most engagement with our readers!
