The folks at Tatango have put out another great infographic – this time providing a breakdown of how consumers are utilizing their Smartphones. If you believed the hype, you might believe that apps, especially Facebook, are king… but you’d be incorrect. Simple ol’ text messaging still takes the top spot for how folks are using their Smartphones nowadays. Noticeably absent from the infographic is QR Code redemption.
Interesting to see checkins even get 12%. Seems high to me. I am guessing this was carried out with a pretty tech savvy audience and not with normal offline folk
Niall, great observation. I suppose any interactive survey is skewed by the very fact that the group responding is tech savvy and somewhat interactive.
