We do pay for some content distribution and pay for ads off and on. It’s important to get our content in front of more audiences – and we find that high quality placement gets us some fantastic, relevant visitors who stick around. As Facebook ramps up paid promotion, Google continues to shrink the organic real estate, and search engines continues to battle tactics from SEO professionals that cheat, content providers are getting cornered to simply pay to play with very little alternatives.
It’s disappointing for me to say that. I love the democratization of the Internet and its power to produce results for the little guy who couldn’t necessarily afford to go head to head with big competition. VIRURL is a bit of a different strategy. Rather than paying these resources to just promote your information, VIRURL adds the opportunity for social influencers to get paid to share links with their networks.
VIRURL distributes sponsored articles and videos around the web via popular websites and influential people. Our self-serve platform lets online media producers create native advertising campaigns in a matter of clicks. VIRURL ads are syndicated through our vast and growing network of website publishers and social media influencers, amplifying partner content to millions of highly engaged people.
VIRURL Sponsored content is syndicated through two user groups:
- Website publishers, who host the VIRURL widget on their site to serve their audience with relevant sponsored content from the VIRURL network.
- Social influencers, who share VIRURL links with their dedicated social media followers and blog readers. VIRURL claims to have 110,000 influencers signed up.
Note: We’re testing out VIRURL and have utilized our Sponsored Link in this post.
