How Are Drones Being Utilized for Sales and Marketing?

For each roofing client that I’ve had, I encouraged them to buy a drone. I have my own to assist when we need some great photos of the properties they work on, but I encourage them to have them on every job. Today’s drones practically fly themselves, and most have incredible cameras built in with up to 4K resolution. It only takes a few minutes to get them out and get some great shots we can put on their websites.

The one in the image above is from a home that Bauerle Roofing did the gutters and roofing on here in Indianapolis. Utilizing actual photos is an incredible feature of a website like a Roofer as it provides photographic evidence of the quality of their work and the geographic location they service. Plus, it looks great on a website!

The drone I’ve purchased is incredibly affordable as well. It’s the DJI Mini 2 and costs under $1,000. I would recommend getting insurance and a full case to transport it in. The kits come with extra blades and battery packs, too.
