ARIN
ARIN is the Acronym for American Registry for Internet Numbers

The nonprofit organization responsible for managing IP address allocations and Autonomous System Numbers across the United States, Canada, and portions of the Caribbean. As one of the five Regional Internet Registries established to support global internet infrastructure, it maintains the database of who controls which IPv4 and IPv6 resources and ensures transparent governance of those resources.
ARIN also plays a policy development role, providing network operators, service providers, and other stakeholders with a forum to shape how number resources are distributed and reclaimed. Its work underpins routing stability, internet growth, and the accountability needed for secure global connectivity.
