SECaaS
SECaaS is the Acronym for Security as a Service

A cloud computing model that delivers cybersecurity solutions through subscription-based services rather than on-premise hardware or software. In this model, third-party providers host and manage security infrastructure, tools, and monitoring systems, enabling businesses to protect their digital assets without the complexity or cost of maintaining in-house defenses.
SECaaS offerings typically include threat detection, intrusion prevention, antivirus protection, encryption, identity and access management (IAM), data loss prevention (DLP), and security information and event management (SIEM). Because these services are hosted in the cloud, they are constantly updated with the latest threat intelligence and can scale dynamically as organizations grow.
Common SECaaS providers include Cloudflare, Palo Alto Networks, Cisco Secure, and Zscaler, each offering cloud-native solutions that integrate easily with hybrid and remote work environments.
By outsourcing security to specialized providers, organizations gain enterprise-grade protection, real-time visibility, and faster response times—while freeing their internal teams to focus on business priorities.
