WWW

WWW is the acronym for World Wide Web.

World Wide Web

A global system of interconnected hypertext documents and resources that are accessed via the internet. The World Wide Web was created in 1989 by British computer scientist Sir Tim Berners-Lee while working at CERN in Switzerland. The WWW allows users to access and share information in the form of web pages, images, videos, and other digital content from anywhere in the world, as long as they have an internet connection and a compatible device. The web is accessed using a web browser, such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, or Safari, and by typing a website address or URL into the browser’s address bar.
