LinkedIn Profile and Usage

With a new user being added each second, LinkedIn’s value is growing for business related human search. Perhaps one of the more interesting statistics is that 40% of the 500 surveyed stated that they had rarely clicked on a LinkedIn advertisement while 60% of overall users stated they had at all. With 100 million users and growing, there may be some benefit for some industries to invest in LinkedIn advertising – I’m curious what your experience has been.

In my opinion, there’s no huge surprises that came from this survey and infographic from Lab42. However, you may wish to keep the network top of mind the next time you wish to test some paid advertising.

    Love it! This reinforces my belief that more people use LinkedIn on a regular basis than we might think. I think a lot of business professionals like LinkedIn more than other networks because it doesn’t contain all the “junk” and chatter that other networks contain. LinkedIn continues to be my second-favorite social network 🙂
