PPC is the acronym for Pay-Per-Click.

An internet advertising model used to drive direct traffic. Pay-per-click is commonly associated with search engines and advertising networks where ad spots are bid on in ad management platforms. When a display ad or textual ad is clicked on, the advertiser pays a fee to the network. If it’s an advertising network, the fee is typically split between the network and the end publisher where the ad was seen.
