GOZE: I Built My Own Outbound Link Analytics Platform As A Single Source of Truth… And Launched It For You!

For as long as I have run Martech Zone, I have sent traffic out more than I have measured it. Every sponsored newsletter placement, every affiliate mention in a product write-up, every partner banner, every podcast read gets a link, and that link goes somewhere. What I never had was one place that told me, honestly and without a bot inflating the numbers, how each of those links actually performed once someone clicked it.
I tried assembling one anyway. A shortener for social posts. A spreadsheet for sponsor reporting. Whatever click numbers an affiliate network handed me, taken on faith. None of it agreed with any of the rest of it, and none of it filtered out the crawlers and scrapers that inflate a raw click count into something you cannot defend in a renewal conversation. When a sponsor asked what their placement actually delivered, I was reconstructing an answer instead of pulling one up.
So I built GOZE myself: a branded link management and analytics platform that puts every outbound link I run- sponsorship, affiliate, email, social, print- on a domain I control, with one analytics layer underneath all of it.
What GOZE Does
The first thing I fixed was trust in the number itself. GOZE runs every click through more than 650 maintained bot and crawler heuristics plus a CAPTCHA challenge layer, so the count I am looking at is people, not scripts. That matters more than it sounds: half of what used to pass for link analytics on my end was cleanup, guessing which spikes were real traffic and which were a scraper hitting the same link a thousand times overnight.
The second thing I fixed was tagging. In GOZE, every link inherits a hierarchical set of Urchin Tracking Module (UTM) parameters automatically, instead of relying on whoever built the link that week to type them in correctly, so a report built in January and one built in November are actually comparable.
The third thing was ownership. Every link lives on a domain I control instead of a generic shortener’s, which is also why every refer.martech.zone link on this site, the ones at the bottom of a product write-up here on Martech Zone, actually routes through GOZE behind the scenes. It is the same infrastructure, just pointed at my own affiliate and sponsorship programs instead of someone else’s.
Built for Every Way You Drive Traffic
GOZE grew out of my own sponsorship and affiliate reporting, but the same link and analytics engine covers every way a marketing team, influencer marketing manager, or independent publisher pushes traffic elsewhere. Listed here alphabetically by who it is built for:
Analytics Manager: If attribution is your job, the work is usually cleanup before it is analysis. GOZE strips bot traffic and applies UTM tagging automatically, so the click data arrives clean enough to join against a warehouse instead of needing to be scrubbed first.

Broken Link Monitoring: I have articles going back over a decade, and outbound links rot. GOZE checks destinations on a schedule and lets me repair a dead or changed link once and have the fix propagate everywhere it is used, instead of hunting down every article that referenced it.

CMO: A chief marketing officer (CMO) reporting to a board doesn’t have time to reconcile five disconnected exports before a meeting. GOZE gives every channel lead the same bot-filtered number to work from, so the figure in the deck matches the figure the team actually pulled.

Deep Link Routing: If you are sending installs to more than one platform at once, one link can route iOS, Android, and desktop visitors to the right destination automatically, and the routing rules can change after the link is already printed on a poster or embedded in an ad.

Email Manager: You can’t edit a sent email, but you can still update a GOZE link inside it. If a destination changes after it’s sent, every copy of that link already sitting in an inbox follows the fix instead of staying broken until the next campaign goes out.
Gated Content Links: Gating a report or a download used to mean building a separate landing page just to hold the form. GOZE puts a subscribe-to-unlock or pay-to-unlock gate directly on the link itself, and the file’s real location is never exposed to whoever unlocks it.

Link Analytics: For anyone running affiliate, creator, paid, email, and sponsorship links out of five different dashboards, GOZE folds all of it into one bot-filtered report with a consistent tagging structure instead of a separate login per channel.
Sell Digital Products: You do not need a storefront to sell a single file. A GOZE link can take payment directly and deliver the download through a single-use, never-exposed link, with the sale showing up in the same analytics as everything else.
Solopreneur: Running the marketing, the sales, and the reporting by yourself leaves no time for busywork. One evergreen bio link, monetized links, and channel-level analytics replace the separate tools a one-person operation usually stitches together.
Sponsorship Manager: Renewals go easier when you can show a sponsor what their placement actually delivered instead of promising it worked. A branded, bot-filtered link per placement is the proof that closes a renewal conversation.
Sponsorship Tracking: Across newsletters, podcasts, and event booths, this is the piece that used to live in whichever spreadsheet I updated last. Now every placement reports into the same dashboard, with QR codes and web clicks tracked side by side, so the renewal evidence is one screen instead of a query I have to build.
Whichever one of those is closest to your own job, the underlying link and analytics engine is the same one running behind every link on this site.
Built to Plug Into What You Already Use
None of this is meant to live only inside a GOZE dashboard. Alphabetically, here is how it reaches into the rest of a marketing stack:
- API: A documented, versioned REST API lets you create links, pull click and revenue analytics, and manage settings directly from your own code, authenticated with a bearer token you can rotate at any time. Real-time webhooks push a signed, verifiable payload to your own systems the moment a click happens, instead of you having to poll for it.
- Browser Extension: A one-click extension for Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari turns whatever tab you have open into a branded GOZE link without leaving the page, connected to your account through a one-time code instead of a fragile OAuth popup.
- Downloadable Data: Every number GOZE shows you- clicks, revenue, subscriber activity- is available as JSON through that same API, so nothing you see on a dashboard is locked behind the dashboard. QR codes export directly as PNG files for print and packaging use.
- Mobile Apps: Native GOZE apps are built, already submitted to the App Store, and currently working through Apple’s review process.
- Progressive Web App: You are not actually waiting on the App Store to get GOZE on your phone or desktop today. A Progressive Web App, or PWA, is a website built to behave like an installed app: add it to your home screen or dock and it gets its own icon, opens in its own window without browser chrome, keeps working through a cached offline fallback page when your connection drops, and can send you push notifications, all without an app store or a review process standing in the way.
- WordPress Plugin: The GOZE plugin adds two dashboard widgets, top redirects and destination health, straight into your WordPress dashboard, plus a link picker built into the block editor: type a search term into any link field and insert a branded short link without leaving the post you are writing. A one-time import tool reads existing redirects out of the Redirection plugin, Rank Math, or Yoast SEO Premium and moves the ones you choose into GOZE in bulk.

Enterprise Ready
Every account on GOZE gets its own isolated database rather than sharing a single set of tables with every other customer, and those databases run across a three-node, high-availability database cluster kept in sync so a single node failure never touches your data or takes your links offline.
The application runs across two separate servers behind a load balancer, with a warm standby ready to take over automatically if the primary node has a problem, so a single server issue doesn’t become a single point of failure for the links your business depends on.
Every database, the shared platform database and every individual tenant database, is backed up automatically every night, verified for integrity, and stored off-server in cloud object storage separate from the servers actually running GOZE, with 30 days of history to restore from if it is ever needed.
On top of that, Cloudflare sits in front of the entire platform for DDoS protection and edge caching, the origin servers only accept traffic that has already passed through it, and account access supports single sign-on (SSO) through Google, Microsoft, GitHub, or Apple, along with two-factor authentication and passkeys, so the infrastructure decisions are not something a security review has to take on faith.
Try It Yourself
GOZE is free to try for 28 days, full platform, no credit card required. You can also see the dashboard walked through on the GOZE YouTube channel before you sign up.
